That's a bugger VC. Do you normally take much Paua from down that way? My in laws were the keepers of the light at Cape Campbell years ago. I have some good memories of just how bountiful the crays and Paua were alongside that stretch of coast.
Quite a few over Golden bay, not too far to go. Mate had a look around at Ward last week, fuck all paua around just having a look but he got a good crayfish for his troubles. The seabed raised quite abit out there, his spot where he got a crayfish everytime now at high tide theres no water there.
Its been a long time since I was there but were a few paua & hundreds of kina everywhere looked like they had eaten all the kelp but I managed a feed of paua
