Hi Splash, possum trapper is keen. I will pm our addy
They are meant to be bad luck ,we where never allowed them in the house when I was young.
When i was young any old persons house had em in.
It was bad luck for the poor guys car that got the crap scratched out of it, before I shot it.

The effort that the male of the species goes to in order to attract a drab looking sheila is quite out there.
Look at the recent TROUTFISHER mag with an article by Peter Storey making dragonfly nymph using peahen feathers. Its a cracker. My son came back from docking with a nice bird. Vise to be in action soon.
Feathers arrived tonight thanks @Splash have given them to @possum trapper to see what creations he comes up with.
Made some pheasant tail nymphs with those peacock feathers you sent me. And a few hare and coppers.
Thanks @Splash

good things take time @Splash :D
If your looking for feathers for weaving and fly tying try 'Feathergirl" on Trademe. Lots different choices.
Hey thanks for the offer WGH but @Chris has sent him enough feathers to make a duvet:D And I'm sure he will be onto those ones next Chris.
Few Pheasant tail nymphs & Kilwells #1's to start I guess ,PT is very welcome but I wanna see some results
Good stuff, let's hope they produce the goods!
Very clever PT.
