We have a 7.5 metre Seahouse with a jet in it for going out off the south coast fishing, mainly for shallow low tide bar crossings as our sea conditions and bars are quite unforgiving down here. Old man got this custom built, it’s been all thru Fiordland, around Stewart Island, the Sounds etc. Up many a river a boat this size shouldn’t go.

I had a 3.2 Keelowcraft jet boat for a while but sold it and bought a Stabicraft 1550 fisher a couple years ago as a easy to beach launch, light to tow inshore fishing and diving boat. So easy with the kids, can tow it anywhere. Quite a versatile little boat that’s got us into some cool spots.

its a tale of ages and preparedness... i was a young green boatie (12 months ago) and he was an old salt.....

    there was music most touching.....

he broke a fuel line and we went fishing then towed the broke ass bastard back as we were coming back to port...... useless tit didnt even have an aux mount so i couldnt even loan him fuel and an engine.

ive since sold my boat and i hear that the tit still hasnt bought an aux motor.
