    Taranaki Gold.

Cracker day nymphing a local stream, rain and overcast, rivers slightly discolored, but sure glad I went for an explore, 3 fish at 4lbs, one at 2 and another at 2.5lbs and lost bruiser, when it went airborne and landed across the 5lb tippet, got back a broken hook,
Three trout from one small run, couldn't believe it, and with in town limits. go the naki.
I've just got home, soaked and a bit banged up knees, as typical Taranaki slimy rock's, dumped me twice on my ass. best day on brown trout I've had in ages. Name: IMG_0650.JPG

Can't ask for much better than that!
