I have never had a go at Salmon so should probably put that on my bucket list as well (need to organise a big trip to the SI to tick off all the big ticket items in one go). Caught a lot of trout around the south Waikato spinning when I was a young fellah but cannot lay claim to being a fisherman at all now.
