    Instinctively, I would say braid, but thinking about it, if making short casts, mono would be fine. I'd pay a bit extra for better quality line as less memory. This would be my choice in 6lb. It's allegedly fluorocarbon. I'm not 100% convinced on that, regardless, it's a good line.
