Advise on nice tramp with the Mrs.

Thinking of doing a tramp for our anniversary next year. First option to mind was Oamaru - Boyd - Cascade huts loop. As much as I’d like the full wilderness experience, I think my wife will appreciate some creature comfort’s like hot shower, flushing toilet etc.

So, can anyone please recommend a nice multi-day walk with nice huts/accommodation along the way? Also thought of the Milford track but don’t know much about it and North Island would be easier.
Even if it’s one day tent and the rest accommodation, that’s fine.

Bridge to nowhere is awesome with heaps of options to walk, kayak, mountain bike and best of all the Bridge to nowhere lodge is amazing. Crazy place, accomodation, bar, deer walking through the place, great people and amazing scenery.

think you will be hard pushed to find huts with flush toilets and hot showers amongst the doc huts,,,could always stay at sika lodge and do day hikes from there they even have private rooms..... and taupo isnt far away if she needs civilisation....

No hot showers but the Able Tasman may be OK for here expectations. The DOC accomodations are comfortable.

Hollyford guided walk. Huts/lodges have showers, jetboat part of it, helicopter out. Wouldn’t be cheap but pretty easy walking.
