    Albury Tavern

    An old style NZ Pub and accommodation. Firearm friendly. All locals. Great food.

    Difficult to find on the net and takes as few phone calls to make contact.
    Highly recommended and its not going on TripAdvisor.

    Nice. Drove there for a look a few days ago while the snow kept us from hunting. Just had a look and then back to Fairlie and Tekapo.

    Stayed there last year after sparrowhawk it's a hidden gem alright good selection of whiskey too.

    Stayed there and dined there during Sparrowhawk shoots. The Mongolian beef is a favourite!

    You gotta feel sorry for Bagheera. Two other places set at the table but no one turned up

    I went down early to get the photo opp. Best not to hold up blokes needing a breakfast !

    I know of one location that does not put it's GPS info online. Old guy prefers visitors who can read a map.

    The old tavern open woow,thort it been closed the last few yrs.Years ago it was a great place for shearing gangs to sort their differences out.
