Best Buy means "It's best to eat up to and including that date but can be safely eaten after that date"
Use Buy means " you need to use/eat it prior to the the end of that date to ensure "Your Safety" as recommended by the manufacture.
A Retailer can be prosecuted for selling a "Use By" but not a "Best By" dated item that has going past the date!
Doesn't mean you"ll get sick but also protects you from sellers selling old Shit!
It protects both the Retailer and the Purchaser.
