    Hunting/Fishing around Mokau.

I'm travelling up to Mokau on Monday for 10 days work and haven't visited the area before.
Just wondering if anyone would be able to give me some pointers on sea fishing or hunting in the area so that I know if it's worth taking a fishing rod or rifle up with me.
I probably won't take a rifle, but quite fancy the chance of catching a snapper or two as we don't get many down here in Christchurch!

Yep but ease into it slowly. About six dozen quart bottles should be the go for the first night. Ha ha ha ha. Gibo and I will clean up the left overs if there are any.

I saw many many goats...and the two fishing rods that I took were as much use as a chocolate teapot!
