    Kaimai holiday offer

Any one wanting a holiday staying in a bus near Thompson's Track?...bus was used during lockdown as a 'bubble', since lockdown has sat empty...has long drop toilet, solar panels running fridge and lights and phone charging, califont hot water for sink and shower, has double bed and 2 couches, both couches fold out to make beds...cooking is by bring your own BBQ or use wood fired BBQ on site...my plan is to put someone in on a permanent basis in the new year but till then thought I would offer it out there and see if anyone is interested...several members of this and a couple of other forums have put effort into this bus and site in the past but it is a few years since they have been back....in good weather one can drive 4WD in and out, tracks a bit slippery in the wet...I was in and out today with my 2WD Nissan ute...it's only 14 km to town so not really remote if the wife and kids need to go there while one goes off for a hunt...trout fishing in the Waihou river is only about 3 km away.

One may find it to be a great place to stay with a wife...it takes a special kind of mate to share that double bed with.

If one takes the wife bush, she can spend the morning giving the bath a scrub, filling it with mountain spring water and then lighting a fire under it and await the return of her hunter man...what a way to top off a day hunting.

Plenty of deer in the Kaimai's...you can camp up in the bus while you have a look around...I have people staying over Easter but otherwise it is available.

The more respectful way to approach a GC like DG is that YOU pm him, then come on here and say "pm'd you "
