    Kinloch - Kawakawa Bay Track

10 k each way for Tramping and Cycling
Completed the return trip in 3.75 hours today.
Great track for both activities, awesome Bush and views with the lake either end for a well deserved dip!
Here some photos, you can continue another 10 to Whangamata Road and loop back to Kinloch on Whangamata Road, another 10 k, if your keen or just dumb.

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

On ya Maca. Getting a bit grey old fellah.

Thanks to a local farmer the fallow are about but the surrounding farms get poached lots, They are trying to stop that as far as im aware, Also been told if farm workers shoot a fallow they will be fired on the spot, Unsure how true that is though. Nice area that part of the country.

I need to find some nice walking country round here Maca - but at this stage it is just up the hill and beat the clock. Up the steep side - first gate to the trig in 22 minutes today so a bit of work to do to get it back under 20 minutes. Nice scenery - I might have to resort to doing it twice to get my steps up - 13,000 steps and a 290m climb today.
