    Kite Boarding

    Anyone on here do this?

    I just bought a kite off trade me looking forward to getting into it.

    Yep it's great. Can be a bit of a hassle with waiting for a weather window, needing wind speed & direction right but great fun.
    I would reccomend getting a few lesson though. I'm happy to try most things, but I'd put kiting up there with skydiving in terms of being a pretty easy way to waste yourself if you don't know what you're doing.

    Dont do it myself but its real popular in Nelson off Tahunanui beach. They actually fought to keep jetskis allowed in there area(from what I understand) as it was a ski that rescued them most of the time as its the skis that are out in shit weather(kite weather)
    As far as I know there has only been one fatality in Nelson involving a kite. Boulder bank I think.
    As with any "extreme" sport it would be about Knowing your limits and expanding them slowly.
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
