Silly boy and an eel
I've told my boy over and over, don't mess with nature unless you're serious about killing an animal and eating it. On this occasion, he didn't listen and I made a short video to document what happened. I think he's learnt his lesson! Boy and eel are fine by the way.

made my night.....priceless indeed.

I have never seen such an aggressive eel. Most would swim away at the first touch. A classic case of "this is my pond boy!"

lol now that is hilarious :D
Actually just seen a show with Jeremy Wade "River monsters" where he came to NZ looking at longfin eels. They can be a bit of a predator, and it looked like that one was hunting some toes :)

Hahaha classic. Just got back from another weekend on lake Te Anau, we had a few good ones come for a nosey round the boat in the evenings. Interesting how little it takes for them to come investigate, we have noticed everytime we do the dishes and let the sink go (drains to outside boat) they'll turn up for a nosey
