    Question bushnell 6500 turrets?????????????

    hi there I have got a 6500 scope 2.5-16 x 42mm 30mm tube with click value of 0.25.
how hard is it to get custom turrets made and does any one where to get them from?

What do you need custom turrets for?

Check the click value because my 6500 has closer to 0.3moa clicks

Apart from mine being the same with .3MOA click value I find the turrets very usable.

Two ways to do. Make up a target with graduations in inches out to 15 - 20 inches. Clamp the scope/rifle and have it on the zero inch mark on the target at 100 yds. Then wind the scope 10 minutes, see how far the scope actually moved at 100 yds. 10MOA is 10.47 inches at 100 yds. The reticle will actually move down not up.

Second way is as you said zero rifle at 100 yds, then wind up 10 MOA (40 clicks) and fire a 3 shot group and measure how far it moved.
