I'll think about it. Would people like if we closed the "Shooting" forum and replaced it with "Competition shooting" and "Long range" sections? I don't want to have too many sub forums, it dilutes the content and becomes a nightmare to navigate
The posts in that forum will still be available I assume?
Just rename it? Sounds good if that's the case and everyone is cool with it.

Renaming whilst leaving the content the same wont achieve much, Fishn hunt forum has lots of shooting related sub forums and is dead most of the time. Why not just start threads

But what about discussing gear for those sports.
Do you post under shooting or gear and equipment?
I was thinking by having it all together it would be good. But considering how much it is discussed you may be right.
