    Forum inaccesable intermittantly

    Hi is anyone else finding they can't access forums at times, I'm finding quite often I can't, then if I try again a bit later I can?

    I've only had this problem since the 'big crash' and it seems quite random. I'm not having any problems with any other sites.

    I've been on a connection via Sat through the Netherlands for the last week - and hasnt missed a beat.

    Who are you with as a provider?

    Had it a couple of times also. Sporadic. Not in the last 48hrs.
    (I'm with Telecom).

    -Found I couldn't get onto the main page. But if I went back through my browsing history and chose a link to an actual thread/topic it let me straight in-sneaky back door there.

    -Try the back door, it might work for you. If at first you're told "no way", I find perserverance often pays off.

    I have had some issue with telstraclear this morning and am now having to use my Iphone broadband ( Vodafone) to connect to the site, very strange.

    I'm using googles DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and has been sweet for me

    Yeah, a DNS resolution problem would be my guess if it's only failing for a small number of people.

    I had a hell of a prob when I was in Oz... was all over the place.. this Sat link is via Netherlands - and its DNS wouldnt work at all - hence why I'm using Googles

    couldn't get on earlier this morning (0921 to 0937+), tried firefox, explorer and android no access from any. Now back again
