    Good idea.
There is another part of the software which is disabled at the moment which guides, FAQ, reviews etc can be stored in.
Once we have a couple of good posts that fit the bill, will activate that part of it.
Reason for it not being active now, is just trying to minimize empty space/forums.

Any othr suggestions on subforums, changes etc, just ask and ye shall receive

Not just all my doing - have had some good help.
A forum member has donated the hosting server etc, another the domain name, another did the catagory setup while I was away, I sorted the software and config etc
The help makes a HUGE difference - after all, the 'community' has made this happen

Will do a formal post in a week and name those as a bit of thanks.

The FAQ/review part is almost an external archive as such.
It will get created from posts more than anything else, but you will have to GO to it rather than be pushed to it.

You're right - new members and newbie questions are an icebreaker and keeps the topics going.
Unfortuanly those old in the tooth will have seen it before LOL

A FAQ section would be handy as a quick reference but I like getting differing opinions and deciding which one is most likely to work for me. Some 'how to' tutorials would be great IMO - there's already some seriously knowledgeable members here.
Love the forum layout, ease of use and colour scheme. Also really like the customisation ability for your own profile. But best of all is the image hosting. I think potentially you've really hit the ground running with the forum. Proud to be a founder member and look forward to meeting some of you.

Search function should work here, that largely eliminates the need for FAQ section.

A search function that works would be brilliant.

I thought baldbob would be after a section for all those baldbastards to shine their heads in.

Maybe a topic on how to use the search function should be stickied at the top of each section... Kind of a "gentle" reminder...
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more
