    Why the .PNG hate?

    Seems I can upload stupid big .jp(e)g pictures, but the limit on .png is tiny. Which means I have end up having to convert/duplicate any pics I want to upload.
    Is there a reason for this?

    Also the scaling... I don't have the option in my CP to limit the displayed size of images... but if it could be set forum wide to, like, 1024 or something that'd be super
