    anyone know in NZ where to get these brushes , they are known as "acid brushes" .....

    Engineering or plumbing supply store.

    They are used for applying Dozall when soldering.

    ok , not so easy .... no plumbers supply stores had them or even heard of them , so can I have some names of places anyone has seen them at , I will look up machinery house online and some places , but bugger me it aint easy to find these .... for me anyway

    Try a few engineering supply shops, blackwoods George Henry etc.

    used to make them as an apprentice out of tin and horse hair. The tin was obtained from those old square kerosene ones
    "ars longa, vita brevis"
