Aluminium oxide (heavy sand) for filling rear bag

Right boys and girls, I have a flash new rear bag coming for FTR, and apparently the go-to stuff to fill it with is Aluminium Oxide that is used at engineering firms for sandblasting ?

Any ideas / suggestions on where to find some of this stuff, preferably in the Hutt ?

    Need around 6kg.

That's a farking big bag! How about garnet?

I went to our local blasters to get a bit of garnet for my wee home blaster and got given a 20l bucket

I've had a look in Yellow pages, couple of blasting firms down the road, will go visit them in the morning.

VC, do you think the garnet is as heavy as Alu Oxide ?

You can use any excess to make some binary targets too.

Here it is boys ! 3.8kg, and the ears are still fairly soft...

Between the rifle, hard case, bag and ammo, I'm already well over my 20kg airline limit
