There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

    How good was he aye?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

My Mum will be sad to hear this.

As kids we were brought up on his music.

    Cheers

Arguing with an Engineer is like Wrestling a Pig in Mud.

After awhile you realise the Pig loves it.

Yep one of those few good solo guys of the 60 - 70s. Remember the Glenn Campbell show on TV well.

Not much of a Country Music fan but the guy's music is amazing. It transcended the genre, and yes my parents liked his music and it's attached to my childhood. Please musicians stop dying! They (whoever that is) don't seem to be making too many good ones these days.

hehe one of my favorite lyrics from my favorite song..

Galveston, oh Galveston, I still hear your sea waves crashing
While I watch the cannons flashing
I clean my gun and dream of Galveston

Iwas fortunate enough to see him live at the chch town hall years ago.bloody brilliant.his backing band featured banjo player carl jackson who actually played the original immortal theme from "Deliverance"
Glensclaim to fame too was his alliance with jimmy webb who wrote virtually all his biggest hits galveston and wichita lineman amongst em.
rhinestone cowboy may be inn that group too IIRC

anyhow -rest well glenn amongst those gerat country crooners in the place over yonder. We will mourn your passing but rejoice in the music you left us.
