Anyone know how much it costs to ship a rifle from Auckland to Christchurch?

Anyone done this before? I'd rather sell locally but someone is asking.

I'm getting rid of my 22 to help fund my varmint rifle.

    Hey

I have just sent my ruger 10/22 down to dunedin, easiest thing ever, took it to Hunting and fishing, gave them the buyers details, paid them $30, they sent it to the Hunting and Fishing in Dunedin and the buyer collected it there. They take responsibility to sight firearm licence as they cannot release a firearm without seeing it, so no buggering around with the police form and they will send it back to you if the buyer does not have a licence (I got him to send me his number and included it in the details to check) or if he does not pitch.

    Saved a lot of hassles!
