    Anyone lose a boat : I found it !!

Hey all.. Just back from a few days away and thought I'd post this one on here.

Found it stashed off Lyndon Road heading through to Coleridge.

This was on Friday morning.. it was down in the gorge leading into the "range".
I left the mud guard at the entrance of the track where it was dumped.
The guard was the first thing I found.. it had been torn off on the track on the way in.

If anyone knows who it belongs to it would be good to let them know.
No name on the boat and no rego plate on the trailer..

Stopped a Cop on the way to the coast and let him know where it was... he said he would go and take a look.
Hope it finds its way back to the owner.. it a bastard having your shit nicked.

veitnamcam, Tim and kiwijames like this.
Treat every firearm as loaded - Always point firearms in a safe direction - Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Identify your target beyond all doubt - Check your firing zone - Store firearms and ammunition safely
Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

I do have to wonder what sort of tosser would go to all the trouble of nicking off with a boat and then change his mind and stash it way out in the Boondocks.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Yea.. they're just pricks eh.
I had a look inside the boat and it looked like they had ripped out some radio gear.. maybe fish-finder etc also..
My guess is that they would be going back to get more off it.. hope the cops did get it removed before it got stripped.
I was almost tempted to move it back up onto the main road so it could be put someplace else...

Dude, that really, really sucks. Good on you man for helping out. I had my ute stolen last year....theft really shits me eh. These dopes won't really be gaining that much but the owner will be loosing SO much. I hope they catch the idiots that nicked it.

    Ya cheeky prick

Just doing what I know everyone else would do, had enough stuff nicked over the years.. even worse if its not insured.

A good outcome would be hearing that the owner got it back.

    Cheers
