    Bird traps

I've just got a new place (grain/seed store ) to trap and or catch pigeons (the pest type ) .
I've got the makings of a trap , any one got any ideas on bait ? . Since it's a grain / seed store I'm picking there is no end to there supply of grains . I'm hoping there is some thing they can't resist ? . Oh the pigeons are going to be used for training my dog to hold point better and any one else who needs to bring there dog "on",or back as it's the case with "Beau "

    Alphachloralose Bird Poison
Alphachloralose bird bait anesthetizes birds so they can be easily removed.
This does not kill birds out right, but puts them to sleep. Non target species can be revived in a warm place.
Get rid of starlings, sparrows, pigeons and other pest birds. Safe to use and approved for use in New Zealand.
I'm thinking this May be a go

Just use a 12g and wing them and bugger the roof in the place (tongue is firmly in cheek at this time)

And now Environment Waikato is recomending that we give them all our money and they will pretend they are providing us with a great service.

Alphachloralose should work well on pidgeons.
