Pick up a proper LPG regulator with anti-flash device fitted from a gas fitter to attach at the bottle end of your hose.

An on/off type valve as shown, without a suitable adjustable regulator and anti burn back fitting wonít tick the H&S box!

Itís insurance relevent if your workshop is near your house

I have a friend that bought a black sheep forge in the last couple of months. The bricks in them are low density, and he managed to turn his to glass in a couple of firings.

Mines working fine. I lined it with 10 mm plates so the insulation has protection plus it stays hot longer
It’s had heaps of use and is a great it of kit

I ordered one yesterday-Lining them with plate sounds like a good plan- did you do all 4 sides or just the floor?

Did floor and sides tack welded the front edges Now you can be a bit rougher with it I’d have ruined the floor pretty quickly
