    BOKS vs AB'S

Really looking forward to this match.
    Should be a good game.
I think the Boks had the harder game the week before and lost the game instead of being beaten.
Their midfield looked good on attack.
We have a few green guys in key positions.
I hope Sopoanga can play to rest level.
Plenty of other good super rugby players have failed at test level.

    Heart says AB'S by 12 or less.😆

Boks have a lot of green in key positions and not just in their jerseys.

They'll really need to turn it on and they'll need to do so for the full 80+. The Boks are missing the master lineout exponent. If they hope to exercise the driving maul they'll need to win this part of the game. Etzebeth and de Jager, good in the scrum - in the air... (?)

Pollard needs to have a strong game, play the game with ball in hand rather than kicking it aimlessly - if they do so, the ABs backs are stellar under the high ball and they'll make them pay by either kicking more accurately or trying to run the Boks off of their feet.

I'm 65/55 to NZ - simply because of facts, prior to last year - the last time South Africa beat NZ was in 2011 and that was a NZ XV team lol.

Will be a good game I reckon.
Shaulk should have been captain a while ago.

Whilst I don't doubt Schalk's credentials as a captain, I think that De Villiers has been an exemplary leader, particularly in the relationship with Mc Caw. Makes me happy to see the two captains' and coaches I might add, mutual respect.

That's what the game should be about - giving it horns for 80 minutes and then chatting about it afterwards. Old school styles. I personally feel that this aspect has been missing from the game for a long time and I'm really happy that this spirit has been rekindled between the two leading exponents of the game.

    I hope it continues.

What's your guys' sweetest victory over the Boks?

Mine over the ABs would have to be Carisbrook in 2008, Rickie Januarie with a chip-kick and gather over the line. 30-28.

After 2005 (epic contest) where we came so close but still lost and, importantly, having never won at that ground in NZ - that to me made me very happy.

Disappointing end, brilliant try by McCaw at the lineout though. Taylor should have been penalised for holding on to Habana. Not sure why NZ received a penalty there but hey. Good game.

Dane Coles try and Lima performance were the highlights for me.
Boks have a team for the future for sure.

Just watching the replay now. 7-3 to the Boks
Good to see the ABs not suffering from a bout of food poisoning. They should win this one
