    At least when NZ police all carry a side arm the crims wont have to raid our gunsafes, they can just pick up the cops arms left on the bench/car boot lid/toilet.

    So if I leave a rifle in a locked car with no bolt or ammo I could/would lose my licence.
    So what happens to this particular fit and proper person in blue??
    Or can he blame it on the pop a vein in the forehead poo he just dropped?
