Calling Guy's in recovery or treatment for cancer....we've got a couple of spaces

    Hi All,

As many of you know I am involved with a Charity that runs Weekends away for guys with Cancer enjoying fly fishing as a key activity over the weekend. I've found there's a really good level of crossover between the Hunting and Fishing fraternity as a 'Kiwi guy thing' - So am hoping if not you, you might be abler to point a mate in our direction...

We're running our next one in the Te Awamutu area at Castle Rock on the weekend of the 17th - 19th February and due to family and work commitments a couple of those guys who had booked back in November have had to pull out opening the spots up for new interest.

A couple of items that may make you show interest..

    1. For those that may or may never have fly fished before (70 % of our participants haven't fly fished before)
    2. Free to participants to attend the weekend - we provide everything gear wise for the fishing bits.
    3. GREAT meals and desserts! (Probably the reason I keep coming back)
    4. Comfortable accommodation with swimming Pool and spa
    5. A great relaxing environment (with great camaraderie from guys that have been on a similar Journey)
    6. Usually great weather and activity at your pace - whatever that is!
    7. Some great guiding from some of the regions great fisher-people.
    8. Run by a non-religious based charity looking out for guys and helping them with a weekend away!

As I said above there is NO COST for this Weekend. We fund raise for this and other events during the year to make it happen the only thing we ask is that you cover your cost of getting to us and home again... thats all!

If you want to know more you can either contact me either here or feel free to PM or visit our face book page for what we get up to over the weekend itself.

If you do say yes we will need to send you a couple of forms to find a bit more about you and what you've been fighting / fought, and a medical release from your Doctor which is a easy 1 page form for them.

Look forward to hearing from you or seeing you next month, and a special shout out for @Happy who is helping me out with this retreat for the first time...

    Cheers
    Carpe Diem (Paul)

Yes too right. On ya Paul. Big ups.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
