    Cat E question

Might be a dumb arse question but do you have to be a member of a club to obtain a cat E endorsement?

no ... but normally one of the reasons that you give the AO is 3 gun , multi gun etc .... but you are allowed to say for any legal purpose etc etc .... i got mine with my "B" because i wasnt going to cost anymore at the time , ... got my "C" as well ...
so i guess if you want to go shoot mobs of goats and show that you need a high cap magazine etc instead of a bolt gun ..then go for it .

Excellent in that case I'll get a cat E safe before I get the visit from the cops for my licence.

or because " I owned one that you guys re-classified to E and I still wish to keep my legally purchased (at the time) property " but written far more politely on the application form eh
