    CCF Appeal

Some of you latte drinking, 7mm08 shooting northerners may have noticed that the Sky Tower is currently lit up 5 different colours at night - these are the colours of five of the most common Beads of Courage - the beads that kids who are undergoing cancer treatment get when they have each procedure. Some of these kids end up with over 1000 of these beads over the length of their treatment, which can go on for years.

The Sky Tower is lit up because March is the Child Cancer Foundation appeal month - specifically this Friday, which is the nationwide street appeal. If you see collectors out and about on Friday, please drop a couple of coins into their bucket. Every little bit goes a long way, and these are kids who really deserve all the support that they can get.

Don't wait to be asked by someone with a bucket. Be proactive and donate online. Places like give a little and such as well are cool.

GiveALittle are damn awesome. Fee free for charities since Telecom bought them, too!

You can also donate $3 by texting BEAD to 206, or donate online
