Put some soil on top mix it through then pour some urea dissolved in water on. Grass when composting needs a ton of nitrogen to break it down. Lime is also good but not with urea, youll gass yourself. It should have generated heat when it started off, heats important or else it just rots.

    Brown and green

1/3 brown to every 2/3 green material.

Used Coffee grounds are a useful activator sprinkled through the mix

    Moisture is important

If itís not working, youíll need to fork through it and add in whatís missing per above and what the other guys have said

Once itís gets started youíll be fine so it shouldnít be too onerous a task afterwards

the in laws are keen gardeners (they do all of ours too and clean the house) apparently coffee grounds are a big no for allot of plants, the caffeine attacks the roots.
