    Courier prices (not rifle related)

Went to nz post the other day to post an eblerstock pack i sold . Weighed 3kg and I used their standard size 4 box 440x310x225 mm which volumetricly was over 5kg.

They wanted 26$ to standard post it and 60$ to courier it !
Ended up getting a mate to courier it through his bike shop for 20$ .

Am I just naive and no one uses Nz post ? Is there a better option out there ? Or is this just what it costs for Joe public to send stuff?

I use fastways or nz post. fastways have given me a good service here in gisborne and also leave a calling card when delivering parcels unlike others in this town that dump and run. Wife just informed me if you can use a nz post pre payed bag it works out cheaper, in this case been large pack fastways

try using couriers through trademe - its a new option to send items not sold on TM
better rates than what I get directly from couriers as they have bulk buying power

    Yep this..
Have been doing so for a while. Is easy to organise and very competitive pricing.
