I have been watching this for over a week wondering if we were going to get rain or more...
Finally it pops up in the paper, haven't seen any TV though

That might wash the goats away Barefoot. Problem solved.

SEVERE WEATHER WATCH FOR NORTHLAND, BAY OF PLENTY ROTORUA, TARANAKI, WAIRARAPA, MARLBOROUGH
ISSUED BY METSERVICE AT 2004hrs 19-Jan-2014
DEEP LOW EXPECTED TO BRING RAIN AND WIND TO MANY PLACES
A deep low, formerly cyclone June, is moving towards New Zealand. It is expected to lie about 200 kilometres westnorthwest of Cape Reinga at midnight Monday then move rapidly southeast across the North Island during Tuesday to lie around 200 kilometres southeast of Wairarapa by midnight Tuesday.
Some rain is expected to fall over all the North Island and the top of the South Island, however, rainfall accumulations are not expected to reach warning levels over most of this area.
The heaviest rain is likely on Tuesday over eastern Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Wairarapa, eastern Marlborough and the Kaikoura Coast, and a Watch is in force for these areas.
Strong or gale force winds are likely as the low crosses the North Island, particularly over the sea. The strongest winds over land are expected to be over Northland, with strong northerlies late Monday changing to southwest gales on Tuesday. This Watch is for the possibility of southwest gales becoming severe about exposed parts of Northland on Tuesday.
People are advised to stay up to date with the latest forecasts in case part of this Watch is upgraded to a warning.
This Watch will be reviewed by 10am Monday 20 January
