    Debt Collectors

Requiring the services of a debt collector. Anyone had dealings with a good one?
I would like to stay with the legit ones at this stage.

They are all as useless as each other. Baycorp are especially useless, you have to keep on their case

most debt collectors are a waste of time, do it yourself, ring them every day even 3-4 times a day ring them at 2 in the morning hound the fuck out of them, that's what i do, you soon get a name that you don't tolerate slow payers.

If that works for you, Great , Personally I wouldn't be assertive enough at 2am . But early is good 6.45 am works (acceptable for a tradie to be sorting correspondence) But Too early to catch most off guard . Most people seem to be a pussycat to deal with at that time . (even the real Aggressive types ) . Its worked for me in the past , without it getting ugly . Depends on who you dealing with too . Pick your Battles

If the amount isn't disputed and they just won't pay, file it in the district court for a payment demand. They have made it an easy process now and normally once they have been served the money starts to flow.

Ha I went with Baycorp, joke, wrote the debt off, 2k, Rsole, Baycorp didn't let it go registered a black mark on him, went on unknown to me for 3 yrs, he wanted to borrow money but had a record, his lawyer got up me! As if I cared! Didn't get my money but threw a spoke in his wheel, enjoyed that. Just another thief

Note to self: Always pay @bomber in advance, in full, so there's no misunderstanding
