Did anyone else in Auckland have problems with cell phone coverage?

I made several calls between one and three this afternoon that would not connect through. Did anyone else experience this? I put it down to shit weather interference but there was nothing about this on the news tonight.

Are you sure the problem wasn't just that all the people you tried to call had caller ID?

I once received a txt and had signal while driving around Nights Point north of Haast back around 2004.
Normally you cannot get coverage even to this day until you are an hour north or 2hrs east of there.

Just thought it was more interesting than some yuppie Rushys car phone in Auckland not working
