    Endorsement info

    Been looking for info about getting a c endorsement but there doesnt seem to be a guide or anything i can find online is this the type of info you can only get from an ao or is there something on line i havnt found

    You have to go and see your local arms office about such things,and right now is probably not the time to do so.Wait for several months then go see them and explain your personal situation/interest and see what they say.Be aware that you cannot fire stuff on C only keep it as a collectible.

    You need to complete and submit a POL67G along with two passport standard photos and $204 which can be paid at NZ Post. Given the centralisation at Kapiti since 1 Apr, I think you'll be in for a long wait to get it approved.

    If you just rock up to a Police station and ask for a 'C' just so you can keep your rifle...I doubt you will have much success,that is just not the way this category of license works.

    I dont have any firearms that need one anyway been thinking about getting one for a while i know its not good timing but my life isnt going on hold because of the currant bs

    ive always been interested in collecting firearms especially war era and now im finally in a position to be able to afford to further my intrests i have friends that have collections and would like to own items other than the a cat stuff ive got i know the timing looks a bit sus but not all of us are crims and my life hasnt gone on hold
