Factory Ammo boxes wanted Tauranga area

    Hi team,

Heading to the South Island in November for the Toby shoot. Sounds like I need some factory ammo boxes to put my reloads in.

Anyone got a few they do not need? 308 sized cases. I'd say 3x 20 rounds would be enough.

    Cheers in advance

Nice one. Could be a few NI'ers in the same boat as me.

Question: if I am taking 260 ammo do you think I will need 260 marked boxes? Surely the airport staff aint that on to it or anal?

So long as they aren't full semiautomatic assault bullets you should be fine.

Iíve traveled with these boxes domestically and internationally and not had any issues.
Have had ammo in soft wallets and plastic ziplock bags removed from the luggage while leavening the boxes ammo beside it.
I generally write the load on the box for my own reference

The plastic ones are "factory made ammo packaging"
Probably not a point one would want to be arguing at security when about to leave on your trip tho....

You donít know itís gone. Just get to the other end and itís not in your bags

5kg max also. They made me open bag and weigh it when I flew last month.
Security later took 6 rds that werenít in boxes
