    Fathers Day

My eyelids barely allowed light in this morning then the dog leapt on the bed, then grandkids all over the place bashing me with my own pillow, i can smell pancakes cooking and they have calmed a little, just their little voices drifting through the house, probably eating my breakfast

Who else is being assaulted with care today

Woke up this am to the sound of air conditioning and bright sunshine! As usual made breakfast for my wife in bed, haven't had a text or phone call yet! Going for a swim shortly, wife's off for a run, ah Father's Day in Fiji

Youngest daughter in Melbourne so left me with a hand written card telling me that she was my favourite so I would forgive her the transgression. Next one up has a houseful of sick kids so no visitation. Eldest daughter wants to take me out to lunch and tells me it is her shout. We will see whether that eventuates. My missus cooked me bacon and eggs for breakfast so all is good in the world. Happy Father's Day fellahs.

Just had a call from the Son, he and his partner are on their way for lunch. Daughter hasn't raised her head yet. Thinking of going for a run but the heads a bit whisky feeling after last nite's evening with friends around.

Wife and daughter are cooking breakfast while I surf the net and kick back
Bit tired after daughter was up at 2am for a while then got up at 6am. It is always a battle during the week day to get her up at 6.20 to get ready for daycare yet weekends she bounces out early

I got a nice home made card and a pretty picture from my daughter. But I have to make the breakfast apparently, which is ok with me as being a 10yr old she sure can make a mess in the kitchen
