If he couldnt find a broken mag spring I would put money on missfires caused by a not fully closed bolt in his excitement to shoot a big stag.
    Munsey and Tommy like this.

More like the broken mag spring caused the misfeed of a round then the "misfire" as he had an empty chamber

In his write up he said it had been returned several times.......wouldn't you think if the shop or wholesaler had done a decent inspection of the rifle they would've found a broken mag spring??? Especially when one of the problems was feeding issues.

I'm asking was it really like that? he could not spot a broken mag spring? god help him if he gets a flat tire on his car
If so the seller looks to be a complete..........(can't really print that can I)
Keep us posted. When you start shooting it could we please see start targets and your final results

Yeah hard to believe to be honest but that is exactly how it came.

By all accounts the accuracy of the rifle is spot on so I'm not planning on putting a scope on it until I confirm it doesn't have a misfiring problem. I don't have a spare scope here at the moment

Wouldnt be surprised if he didnt take the mag in with the rifle, see this heaps with vapes and charging issues and people don't bring in the chargers with them.

I hope the poor fucker that sold it (despite his not having the nous to fix it, that isn't the point) is watching this thread. IF that's all that's wrong, I'd be asking the shop to refund the difference between what he paid and what @PerazziSC3 bought it for. It's not up to him to have to diagnose and fix a new rifle that cost an arm and a leg, and he returned it to them a few times too. If they just gave it back each time without actually looking at the thing, and that's all that's wrong, I would be taking them to Small Claims.

    SCORE!
