I was just saying the other night that I have not been down to field days for years. Probably no point now I am out of farming but just might take a look this year anyhow.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

I go now purely to watch my son, he does the fencing competition, don't need to look at gear anymore, the thing that disappointed me the most is the amount of those cheap Asian style clothing/toys etc and I am sure they will be out in force again this year.

Jack I bought my grand daughters knitted alpaca cardies last year, covered in animals of different colurs much to the dismay of my daughter. Theyve nearly worn them out! Ill look for something just as tasteful this year. Bought them pink camo gear from the Sika show also with much the same affect.

I don't mind them being there, just seems like every year the amount of them doubles, and my feet get bloody sore with the kids dragging me around them all, should get one of those mobility scooters, I am getting old you know
