Search you tube "2014 fiordland roar" tell me whats wrong with the video.
I've heard of this happening over the last few years on ballot blocks, with some guys doing most of there roar hunting this way.
Not much grey matter between ears to be posting that on the internet.

Just lying to themselves if that is how they are hunting.

All the way down there to shoot scrubbers by torchlight?

I'll upload a pic of a stag shot in the light in the area I hunt if you want to see a bloody shame, great stag, I knew roughly where he was living but didn't have access to it.

Coincidently met the bloke holding the spotlight for the bloke who shot it, thought it was a great laugh.
Spotlighting for red dogs (off public road onto properties they didn't have access to shoot on - illegal to shoot off roads and onto property without access), saw the stag 200yds out, neck shot it with a 22-250 (illegal calibre, illegal to shoot deer in spotlight in my state and illegal to shoot deer without deer hunting license), ran out into the paddock started caping it, said "fuck this I'm not paying for that" so just cut the head off and left the body in the paddock.

Worst part was a fucking pearler of a stag, its what gives hunters a bad name.

As soon as it started I saw the torches on the scope.
