    First time

At my school they've started a pistol shooting club, and the first 'try out' was this afternoon. Me and gadgette #2 decided to go along, there were quite a few people from our school there.
So, we were told the safety instructions, and then we got to shoot. It was my first time shooting a pistol, although my sister has fired one before.
We got 5 pellets and shot at the target.

    my results....

McMillan Cup, a great way to get into shooting. Air pistols doubly that, not only does it teach you the basics on safety, but it teaches really good fundamentals.

Well done TR. Work on tightening the group next time you have a go
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Good first effort TR ! Keep at it, if you enjoy it and get very good, it can take you to the Olympics.

You shooting single hand only ? Using the same hand that you normally write with ?

    Lefties rule

Good that you have a bunch of lefties, then maybe the club can organise a left specific grip.

I'm left eye and hand dominant

Yup, checked that out before she squeezed the trigger in an air rifle. She's totally a weird leftie.

Point your index finger at something, both eyes open
Keeping your finger in the same place, close your left eye, then open your left eye and close your right eye.
With one of your eyes, it will look like the finger jumps to the side.
Whichever eye keeps your finger pointed at the same spot as the view with both eyes open, that is your dominant eye.
