Forest & Bird supports the continued use of 1080 in New Zealand's forests as it is

" Forest & Bird supports the continued use of 1080 in New Zealand’s forests
as it is currently the most effective tool for significantly reducing pest numbers "

Quote from the article on their own web site

I asker her outright and she told me Forest and Bird do not support the use of 1080

I'm not making any stand here except I don't like bullshitters, especially when they are trying to get donations of 30$ a month out of my wife.

    She has been sent away.

Ask her why Kea are endangered and how many they plan to kill this, $30 per month won't buy much 1080

A lot of us could learn an awful lot from Forest and Bird.
    They are well organised.
    Well funded.
    Well publicised.
    Coherent.
    Semi political.
    Did i say organised?

You don't have to like every thing they are for but they make us hunters look a bunch of monkeys at best. They do some really cool things too.

    Flame on.

Honestly I thought I'd never have an ounce of sympathy for the "Twig and Tweeters" but look at them without your hunters hat on and tell me what you think.

I can guarantee they put 100% less dumb shit into their FB page than what we see here.
