    Getting a fireplace installed

    Hey guys

Got a couple of heat pumps but looking for that fire feeling in my home,

Anyone had one installed when not doing a new build?

    Cheers

Had an insert one installed a year ago to stay "compliant", New fire was really efficient, throws out heaps of heat and even burns overnight easily, even on willow. Cost about $3000 all up including new flu and consent etc but there was a council grant there for about $1000 I think

Now is the time to purchase, most manufacturers have "Field Days" specials.

In Palmerston North your consent is bloody high I installed my son's last year and got a he'll of a shock. I guess it will be a freestanding a Masport R1500 is a great fire and will do a new home up to 200 square. About $1899 including a flue.

if you can wait till spring mitre 10 usually have a big discount sale then.we bought one then and we got extras like half price flue and we didn't need hearth as already one in the house so swapped it for a wetback .cost us 1500 for fire and flue for a metro woodfire the rural one heats about 120 square metres.
