Agreed. My daughter has one and it is a bunch of fun.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

i checked out most of the main brands of 22lr l/a before purchasing.
the mossberg, henry and chiappa were all zinc pot metal (inc the "brass" henry)
there were a couple of second hand winchesters but in the end i bought a browning as the receiver is steel (and nickle plated)

I bought a Norinco 22 lever probably 20 years ago. Good solid rifle-couldn't hit shite with the open sights but all good with a scope.
Id like to shorten it and somehow thread it for a quick change silencer.

Mrs. Sadie Adler... now that's my idea of a girl with a gun. I am in love. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, all you need do is press the Sad Bastard button now and we'll move on.

My real life Sadie Adler, the wife. I will always like this photo of her ambling along through the paddocks with her haul of peacocks. You really really don't want to be a peacock, a hare, a rabbit, a goat, or a deer, when this lady is around. Man she is a good shot. SA army officer with whatever the highest status of marksman is, in R4, R4 Designated Marksman, R1 Designated Marksman and CZ85.

I will never forget giving her a brand new Tikka T3 Super Varmint in .223 in Aus. I said let's go out to the mine dump and have a shot. I'd already zeroed the rifle and knocked up some accurate 55gr Blitzkings and got it shooting spot on... so I was in the process of setting up the table at 100 m, and she looks at me and says nah, put it over there. Where? 300m please.

She hadn't shot a rifle for about 5 years (babies, work, moving around blah blah). She shot this group straight off the bat. 0.4MOA at 300m. No sighters, no cocking around. There was a wee breeze, left to right.

I, er, couldn't quite match it.
