Thread: Gongs wanted to borrow Kurow 10-11 November

    I have a set (16) old wooden bowling balls. I though we could us as targets. They will be one hit only. if we set them out far enough should be a bit of fun for you guys

    Last year the best target was a lonely hare that run around around 600y mark had about 20 people going for him and not one hit hahaha he was going for it tho

    Ok Guys where are we at with gongs ? @Cowboy06 @muzr257 @muzza
    I can do a run up to Timaru Fairlie to pickup
    Jakewire has a couple, Tentman has sent up a few, I've got a couple of real heavy plates 750x480
    I've got someone who can make up some from MDF not ideal I know but what ever works
    let me know what you want me to do?
    Feeding you guys is the easy bit. just hope you like venison I put 40kg of sausage in the freezer yesterday plus venison steaks and roast's

    I think I am borrowng a few to bring down but likely wont have stands and wont get there till friday evening.

    I can bring mine also and a heap of warratahs and a warratah banger if need be, wont take long to whip round and set some up saturday sparrows fart. Should I bring a quad for ducking out to paint gongs etc?

    I’ve got some 500x500’s and 300x300’s but flying down so can’t get them in my bag.
    Is anyone driving down and going anywhere near Palmerston North?
    Can meet on SH 1 for pick up.

    Any one heading through Timaru on Friday. I am inland not far from St. Andrews. I’ve got a full size ipsc and stand. There are a couple others. I’m gone from here mid afternoon to a rifle match. If you want them let me know as I need to retrieve them from the range before this rain on Thursday. 0272608459
