    And putting aside his apparent legal justification for shooting you think it was ok? The legal system only makes judgement on law not morality.

    @systolic

    Juries rarely do see everything! Think of Dean Cottle's evidence kept from the jury in the first Bain trial etc.

    Evidence gets excluded because it is too prejudicial, too this, too that, all in a legal game between prosecutor and defence. In the end the cop in question only had to raise reasonable doubt to get off the criminal charge which had to get proven "beyond reasonable doubt".

    Once it comes to the civil case against the police/city, then the whole grotesque Simon-says contradictory instructions scenario will be looked at and on balance of probabilities it will be a wrongful death verdict, and compensation to the victim's kids. Also, in the eyes of most citizens, on the balance of probabilities, it will be seen as a finally proven case of murder, by yet another unconvicted cop. Not sure if it is better than nothing as the US still risks more of these kinds of vigilantism:

    The only remaining question is whether the crap swirls left or right as it goes down.

    Good luck with the civil case.

    BTW, this corrupt US cop did not quite get away:

    Nor did this one - got caught planting evidence - did not know that when he activated his body camera it automatically saved the prior 30 seconds!! Priceless!!! Want one of those myself.

    And here's someone else who did not read his camera manual about the 30 seconds back in time getting saved:

    clip is freely available on youtube-- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBUUx0jUKxc

    Completely unjustified killing. All the instructions shouted at the confused man are ridiculous. LEFT foot over RIGHT foot?? whose left/right??? What next? Do a double backflip with your hands behind your back? why not just tell him to lie flat on the ground and spread out his arms and legs, then approach and cuff???????

    IMO, Even just slight intoxication would cause him to be very confused in this situation. It's all very messed up. from the video, it seems like the cop was intentionally trying to get him to make mistake so that he could shoot him.... Murder.

    I have nothing against cops; quite the opposite, as I am on my way to becoming one.
    Steve123 and Cordite like this.
    By law, you are required to turn on your headlights if it's raining in Sweden.

    How the hell am I supposed to know if it's raining in Sweden?
