    Heat Pump broken?

HI I have a Mitsubishi heat pump MSZ-A24YV

the out door condensor unit has stopped running (looks like know power getting to but cant confirm.) indoor unit can run.
not sure what caused it to stop, one day neither of them were working flipped the fuse on and off the the indoor unit worked.

has any one come across it before or know what to look for opened if up the wiring looks ok.

thought there must be some bright sparks on here who knows what would have happened.

    Cheers

You need to confirm that it has a live power supply to it. First move is that ! It maybe fine but the wires feeding it may not
Keep it simple at the start that's the first move.

Get a "chap" in to look at it. Electrickery is not for learners, it can all end in tears without warning

Have you tried to run it in TEST mode? Press the EMERGENCY OPERATION button on the indoor unit.
Does the OPERATION INDICATOR lamp flash? This will be a fault code.
In all honesty I doubt there will be much you can do.
The power supply is linked to both indoor and outdoor (primary connection to the indoor Im pretty sure).
The unit is old being a 24 (24,000BTU's) so will most probably shut down due to a component failure. More likely a dead PCB or a dead compressor.
Get a "chap" to look at it. They should hopefully be able to give you and idea of repair cost there and then.

Chuck it out and get one that runs on wood. Simple to operate.
