    Looking at these posts just reminds me how much I want to fly choppers, always been a dream of mine.

    I started flying fixed wing many years ago, then was blessed with my daughter, subsequently, that dream fell by the way side ( Kids are an extremely expensive endeavour)

    one day though if I manage to hit the Lotto I will do my Heli PPL, and if I could CPL. but for now remains a dream

    It's been a long day here waiting for the weather to clear. One of the other guys on the job found this video and I thought it was worth posting.
    I really like the filming in it. The drone gives a really terrific perspective, very dynamic.

    To me, that thing sure sounds like a Dyson that's done a bearing though!

    Sorry to say but I have been told by those that knew him, that Rex was colourful with the truth.

    I was taught to hate the word chopper in reference to helicopters by a bunch of crusty old pilots that are still doing it.
    Not that I ever used the term myself.
